Product Description

 Abrasive Strips - Diamond

A range of diamond abrasive strips and sheets with resin-bonded polishing powder on a polyester backing. Waterproof bonding ensures that polishing particles remain fixed to the backing, avoiding unwanted scratches on the surface being prepared. Also available with aluminum oxide and silicon carbide powders.

Diamond abrasive is supplied as a single strips 35mm or 70mm wide or 215x279mm sheets.

Precision Dental Contouring

Engineered with industrial grade diamond grit, these strips guarantee accurate contouring of interproximal areas during orthodontic and restorative dental work. Their high flexibility and even diamond coating ensure adaptability around tooth surfaces for uniform material reduction and polishing.

Customizable Grit Sizes

Available in coarse, medium, and fine options, the grit size can be tailored to accommodate specific procedures. This versatility helps dental professionals choose the most suitable strip for initial shaping, smoothing edges, or final polishing, optimizing treatment outcomes.

Safe, Durable, and Compatible

Constructed with a flexible polymer base and embedded diamonds, these strips are compatible with a wide range of dental materials. Their non-toxic nature, neutral pH, and compliance with ISO 13485 assure safety for intraoral procedures, while their durability supports extended use in clinical and laboratory environments.

FAQs of Abrasive Strips - Diamond:

Q: How do I use diamond abrasive strips for interproximal contouring?

A: To use, insert the strip gently between the teeth, holding both ends to control movement. Guide the strip back and forth in the desired area, selecting a suitable grit (coarse, medium, or fine) for efficient shaping, finishing, or polishing of dental materials such as composites or ceramics.

Q: What are the main benefits of using these diamond-coated strips in dental procedures?

A: These strips provide high flexibility, allowing easy adaptation to tooth contours and interproximal spaces. Their uniform diamond coating ensures precise, smooth results, and their durability means they remain effective across multiple uses, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Q: When should I use coarse, medium, or fine grit sizes?

A: Coarse grit is ideal for initial material removal or shaping, medium for smoothing and refining surfaces, and fine for final polishing. Choose the grit size based on the step of the dental procedure to achieve the desired finish efficiently.

Q: Where should these strips be stored for maximum longevity?

A: Store the strips in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or humidity. Proper storage preserves the integrity and effectiveness of both the electroplated diamond surface and the flexible polymer backing.

Q: What dental materials are compatible with diamond abrasive strips?

A: These strips are suitable for use on composite resins, ceramics, metals, and precious alloys, making them a versatile choice for various dental applications, including orthodontic and restorative treatments.

Q: How does the manufacturing process ensure the abrasive strips quality and safety?

A: The strips are manufactured with ISO 13485-certified processes, embedding industrial-grade diamond grits onto high-quality polymer films via electroplating, resulting in non-toxic, neutral pH strips that are safe for intraoral use and compliant with medical device standards.

Q: What distinguishes these diamond strips from other dental abrasive tools?

A: Their combination of flexibility, customizable grit sizes, uniform diamond coating, and dental grade construction sets them apart, enabling superior control and results in interproximal spaces and contouring tasks compared to traditional abrasive tools.
