FAQs of Abrasive Strips - Diamond:

Q: How should Abrasive Strips - Diamond be used for dental finishing and polishing?

A: For optimal results, select the appropriate grit (Fine, Medium, or Coarse) based on the desired finish. Attach the strip to a compatible dental instrument or use manually for contouring, finishing, or polishing dental materials and hard surfaces. Always use gentle, controlled motions to avoid damaging delicate surfaces.

Q: What are the main benefits of using these diamond abrasive strips in dental practices?

A: These strips provide uniform and efficient abrasion, excellent durability, and superior wear resistance. Their flexible polyester backing enables precise access to difficult areas, making them ideal for both routine dental procedures and detailed orthodontic work.

Q: When should I replace an Abrasive Strip - Diamond during a procedure?

A: Replace the strip if you notice reduced cutting efficiency or wear on the diamond coating. Since the strips are designed for high performance, their longevity reduces the frequency of replacement compared to traditional abrasive products.

Q: Where should the abrasive strips be stored for maximum shelf life?

A: Store the strips in a dry, cool environment, away from moisture to preserve their integrity and effectiveness. Proper storage ensures they maintain their 5-year shelf life.

Q: What is the difference between Fine, Medium, and Coarse diamond grits?

A: Fine grit provides smoother finishing, Medium is suitable for general contouring and polishing, while Coarse grit is best for more aggressive material removal. Select the grit size depending on the procedure and material involved.

Q: How are these abrasive strips compatible with dental instruments and manual use?

A: Their flexible rectangular form and standard size (150 mm x 4 mm) make them easy to attach to various dental instruments or use by hand, allowing versatility in application methods during different procedures.

Q: What makes diamond-coated abrasive strips advantageous over other types?

A: Diamond-coated strips offer superior hardness, wear resistance, and a more uniform abrasive surface than conventional materials, resulting in smoother finishes and extended usability in demanding dental and orthodontic tasks.
