Product Description

Abrasive Strips - Diamond

A range of diamond abrasive strips and sheets with resin-bonded polishing powder on a polyester backing. Waterproof bonding ensures that polishing particles remain fixed to the backing, avoiding unwanted scratches on the surface being prepared. Also available with aluminum oxide and silicon carbide powders.

Diamond abrasive is supplied as a single strips 35mm or 70mm wide or 215x279mm sheets.

Superior Abrasive Performance

Diamond abrasive strips provide effective and precise material removal through industry-standard fine, medium, or coarse diamond grit grades. The strong bond between diamond particles and the flexible polyester substrate delivers consistently sharp cutting action and extended service life, making them suitable for a range of dental and industrial applications.

Flexible and Customizable Application

Designed with high flexibility and durable construction, these diamond strips contour easily to curved surfaces, ensuring excellent control and finish even in tight spaces. Customizable width, length, and grit options allow users to select the ideal strip for dental finishing, metalwork, ceramics, or composite material shaping tasks.

Protection and Longevity Ensured

Each strip is packaged in sealed, moisture-resistant pouches to prevent contamination and preserve the diamond abrasives effectiveness. With a shelf life of three years under proper storage, these strips maintain quality and reliability, ready for immediate use in professional environments.

FAQs of Abrasive Strips - Diamond:

Q: How are diamond abrasive strips typically used in dental and industrial settings?

A: These strips are mainly used for precise abrasion, finishing, and polishing in dental procedures (such as interproximal reduction or contouring restorations) and for fine cutting and shaping of metals, ceramics, and composites in industrial processes. Their flexibility helps reach and finish contoured surfaces smoothly.

Q: What benefits do diamond abrasive strips offer compared to conventional abrasives?

A: The use of fine industrial-grade diamond grit provides superior cutting efficiency, excellent durability, and minimal clogging. Diamonds hardness ensures a sharper edge for longer, while the strips flexibility accommodates complex shapes without breaking.

Q: When should I replace a diamond abrasive strip?

A: Replace the strip when you notice a significant reduction in cutting or polishing effectiveness, if the strip appears visibly worn, or if it is damaged. Using a fresh strip ensures optimal performance and safety during each procedure.

Q: Where can these diamond abrasive strips be stored for maximum shelf life?

A: For best longevity, store the strips in a cool, dry place and keep them in their original sealed, moisture-resistant pouches. Avoid excessive bending and protect them from exposure to humidity or direct sunlight to preserve abrasive effectiveness up to three years.

Q: What is the process for attaching these strips to dental or industrial tools?

A: The strips are manufactured with compatibility in mind for standard dental strip holders and many industrial tools. Simply insert or secure the abrasive strip into the designated holder and ensure it fits snugly before beginning your finishing or polishing work.

Q: Are different grit grades available to suit diverse applications?

A: Yes, the strips are available in customizable grit sizesincluding fine, medium, and coarseallowing for tailored material removal and surface finishing suited to various clinical or industrial requirements.

Q: What makes these strips safe and reliable for users?

A: Made from non-toxic materials, odorless, and compliant with ISO/DIN standards, these strips are non-poisonous and designed with user safety in mind. The sealed packaging and quality construction further minimize contamination risks and ensure consistent performance.
